Australia completed a dominant 3-0 series win over Pakistan on Monday, cruising to victory in the third and final T20I at Bellerive Oval. Chasing a modest target of 118, the home side made light work of the chase, finishing with just three wickets down and 52 balls to spare.

Despite a shaky start, where openers Jake Fraser-McGurk (2) and Matthew Short (18) were dismissed early, Australia quickly regained control. Captain Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis built a solid 55-run partnership for the third wicket, with Inglis contributing 27 off 24 balls before being dismissed in the 10th over.

Stoinis then took charge, scoring a blistering unbeaten 67 from just 27 balls, including five sixes and five fours. His quick-fire half-century saw Australia over the line in just 11.2 overs. Pakistan’s bowlers—Shaheen Shah Afridi, Jahandad Khan, and Abbas Afridi—each claimed one wicket but were unable to stem the Australian charge.

Earlier, Pakistan, who chose to bat, were bowled out for 117 in 18.1 overs. Despite a brief 44-run stand between Babar Azam and Haseebullah Khan, Pakistan’s innings faltered after Adam Zampa dismissed Haseebullah in the seventh over. Zampa then took the crucial wicket of Babar Azam (41 off 28 balls) in the 13th over, and the visitors’ middle order collapsed.

Australia’s comprehensive win sealed the series sweep, with the home team showcasing their superior batting and bowling throughout the series.
