Islamabad: Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, addressed a crowd of supporters in Islamabad as she and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s convoy reached Seventh Avenue.
In her speech, Bushra Bibi expressed her determination and defiance, saying, “If it were any other leader, they would have negotiated, but we will not back down. A Muslim does not harm another Muslim. Why are we being shelled?” She questioned the authorities’ actions, emphasizing that PTI supporters were peaceful and advocating for truth and justice.
Bushra Bibi strongly reiterated that she would be the “last woman” to leave D-Chowk without her husband, Imran Khan, asserting her commitment to the cause. She also urged PTI workers to remain at D-Chowk until Imran Khan is released, promising they would not leave until their leader’s freedom is secured.
Her speech resonated with the crowd, reinforcing the party’s stance of standing firm in the face of adversity.
