NEW DEHLI:Â Navjot Kaur, wife of former Indian cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, has received a legal notice for claiming that her husband cured his stage-4 cancer through diet. The Chhattisgarh Civil Society (CCS) issued a legal notice demanding 850 crore rupees.
According to Indian media, CCS has demanded that Navjot Kaur provide proof of her husband’s recovery claim. The notice states that she must submit evidence of Sidhu’s recovery within seven days. If not, she faces a legal penalty of 850 crore rupees for making “misleading” statements.
The notice also questions whether Sidhu’s wife only used dietary remedies like neem leaves, lemon water, basil, and turmeric, or if she took any allopathic medicine. It warns that Sidhu’s claims could create a negative perception of allopathic treatments, possibly leading cancer patients to stop conventional treatments in favor of diets and home remedies, putting their lives at risk.
Sidhu’s Claims of Wife’s Cancer Recovery
Recently, Navjot Singh Sidhu posted a video on Instagram claiming his wife had cured her stage-4 cancer. He said her cancer had spread to the bones, and doctors had given her only a 5% chance of survival. However, after his daughter researched, they followed a special diet plan, and in 40 days, his wife miraculously overcame the disease.
Diet Plan Details
Sidhu shared that his wife followed a strict diet: no food after 6 PM, starting each day with warm water mixed with lemon, raw turmeric, and apple cider vinegar. She also consumed neem leaves and basil after 30 minutes. She avoided tea and instead had a drink made from cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, and small cardamom with a bit of jaggery. Additionally, she had fruits like blueberries and pomegranate, juices made from beets, carrots, and amla, and consumed almond flour bread with vegetables and salad at night. The cooking was done with coconut, olive, or almond oil instead of refined oils. Sidhu claims that this diet, combined with care, produced positive results in just 40 days.
