BULAWAYO: Pakistan won the third and final one-day international (ODI) against Zimbabwe by 99 runs, securing the series 2-1.

In the match played in Bulawayo, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. The team scored 303 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.

In response, Zimbabwe could only manage 204 runs, getting all out in the 41st over, falling short of the target of 304 runs.

Kamran Ghulam was the star for Pakistan, scoring a brilliant 103 runs off 99 balls. Other notable contributions came from Abdullah Shafiq (50), Mohammad Rizwan (37), Salman Ali Agha (30), and Saim Ayub (31). Irfan Khan scored 3 runs, and Taib Tahir and Aamir Jamal were both not out, scoring 29 and 5 runs respectively.

For Zimbabwe, Craig Ervine and Brendan Taylor were the top scorers with 51 and 37 runs, respectively. Tadiwanashe and Sean Williams both made 24 runs.

Pakistan’s bowlers did a great job, with Salman Agha and Abrar Ahmed taking 2 wickets each. Haris Rauf and Aamir Jamal also claimed 2 wickets each, while Faisal Iqram and Kamran Ghulam took 1 wicket each.

The series had started with Zimbabwe winning the first match under the DLS method, but Pakistan bounced back in the second game to claim victory and ultimately win the series 2-1.
