LAHORE: A police constable lost his life during violent clashes with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters, according to Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari. In a press conference held on Monday, Bokhari accused PTI of attempting to replicate the events of May 9, when widespread unrest occurred across the country.
Bokhari further alleged that Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI’s founder Imran Khan, was instigating violence. She also pointed out that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, who had been leading a central procession of the protesters, had mysteriously disappeared from the scene.
The minister accused Bushra Bibi of exploiting religious sentiments to stir chaos and violence in the country, fueling tensions during the ongoing protests.
