Paris: Flight operations were briefly disrupted at one of Europe’s busiest airports when a pet dog went missing, leading to the closure of two runways during the search.
Reports say that the dog, named Amalka, arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport on an Air France flight from Dallas with its owner. While being unloaded, the dog escaped from its crate and ran off, sparking a major search at the airport.
Airport authorities made public announcements and used drones to try to find the dog. Air France confirmed the dog was seen multiple times, but so far, they have not been able to catch it.
The search led to delays in airport operations as two runways were closed temporarily, affecting flight schedules.
