TANDOJAM: A local artist was tragically killed in an aerial firing incident at a wedding ceremony in Tando Jam.
The murder case has been registered following the fatal shooting, with the complaint filed by her father.
According to the SHO of Tando Jam, the case was lodged based on the victim’s father’s statement.
The FIR mentions that the artist and her aunt were invited to perform at the wedding. During the celebration, the groom and his brothers fired shots in the air. When the artist and her aunt refused to perform due to the gunfire, the program was forced to continue.
The FIR states that during this time, a gunshot injured the groom’s brother, Jalal, and the Mehndi, who was later rushed to the hospital. Sadly, Mehndi passed away at the Civil Hospital on Friday morning.
The victim’s father stated that his daughter, a talented artist, had gone to the wedding to perform but never returned.
