DUBAI: A watchman from Hyderabad, India, had his life changed dramatically after winning a massive lottery in Dubai.
Nampally Raj, a 60-year-old watchman, recently became a millionaire after buying a ticket for the “Big Ticket” lottery. Raj’s ticket was selected as the winner of the electronic lucky draw, securing him a grand prize of 1 million dirhams (approximately ₹2.33 crore).
In an interview, Raj shared that he had been buying lottery tickets for 30 years. He expressed joy and gratitude for finally experiencing success. Raj revealed that he plans to share his winnings with friends who helped him purchase the ticket and save the rest for his family.
US Woman Wins Six Lottery Tickets Simultaneously
In the United States, a woman astounded everyone by winning not one but six lottery tickets in a single draw.
Latoya Burke, a resident of Virginia, tried her luck by purchasing six identical lottery tickets and won the prize for all of them. Burke matched the winning numbers (0-5-5-5-5) on all six tickets, earning $30,000 per ticket, totaling $180,000.
Sharing her excitement, Burke mentioned that she bought the tickets from a Tiny Giant store, deciding to try her luck with identical numbers. Her win reinforces the saying, “When it rains, it pours,” turning her into an instant sensation.
