MUMBAI: Indian stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal, who had been missing for a couple of days, has returned home safely. On Tuesday, his wife, Sarita, filed a missing person report in Mumbai after Sunil failed to return home as planned.
According to media reports, 49-year-old Sunil Pal had traveled to another city for a show, informing his wife that he would return by December 3. However, when he didn’t arrive and failed to respond to repeated calls, his wife grew concerned and filed the report.

In the video, Sunil addressed his fans, stating, “I was kidnapped in New Delhi on December 2, but I am safely back now. I’ve given my statement to the police, and I will share more details after their investigation is completed.”
He thanked his fans for their support and asked for their prayers. Describing the abduction, he added, “I was taken from the outskirts of New Delhi; I’ll explain more later.”
