Islamabad: Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Khan announced that the PTI will start a civil disobedience campaign at home and abroad if their demands are unmet.

The country is under dictatorship, with state terrorism resulting in the shooting of innocent political workers and the martyrdom of peaceful ones. Hundreds of our workers are missing. The Supreme Court should now take notice of this and play its constitutional role. We approached the Supreme Court, Lahore High Court, and Islamabad High Court for serious human rights violations, but the courts took no action, leading the country to this point!. We will hold a grand gathering in Peshawar on December 13 to pay homage to the martyrs and invite opposition political parties to attend.
I am forming a five-member negotiating committee on two points • Release of under-trial political prisoners
• Establishment of judicial commission for transparent investigation of the events of 9th May and 26th November
Our negotiation committee will consist of Umar Ayub Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Salman Akram Raja and Asad Qaiser and will negotiate with the stakeholders-
If these two demands are not accepted, civil disobedience movement will be started from December 14. The government will be responsible for the results of this movement.
As a result of civil disobedience, will appeal to Pakistanis living abroad to limit remittances and conduct a boycott campaign. In the second phase of this movement, we will go even further!!”

Imran Khan revealed the formation of a five-member negotiation team. He includes Omar Ayub, Ali Amin Gandapur, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Salman Akram Raja, and Asad Qaiser. This team will negotiate with the federal government to demand the release of political prisoners and the establishment of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9 and November 26.

Imran Khan warned of starting a civil disobedience movement on December 14 if demands aren’t met, blaming the government. He announced a “grand gathering” in Peshawar on December 13 to honor party supporters who died in the November 26 protest.

At a press conference in Peshawar. Ayub, alongside PTI leaders including Shibli Faraz and Sheikh Waqqas Akram, reiterated the party’s demands. They expressed readiness for open negotiations. “We are empowered to negotiate on any issue and with any authority,” Ayub stated.
