ISLAMABAD: The federal ombudsman for harassment has dismissed a university professor after finding him guilty of harassing a female lecturer.
The decision came after the ombudsman heard the female lecturer’s complaint about the professor’s inappropriate behavior.
Following the investigation, the ombudsman ruled in favor of the lecturer and ordered the professor’s termination from the university.
Additionally, a fine of 1 million Pakistani rupees was imposed on the professor for his actions.
