In a thrilling match held at the University of Birmingham’s glass court, Sohail showcased his exceptional talent and determination, overcoming Moez Tamer Elmoghazy of Egypt in a nail-biting five-game showdown.
Sohail’s remarkable victory ended an 18-year wait for Pakistan at the British Junior Open competitions, with the last Pakistani champion being Nasir Iqbal in 2007. The 12-year-old’s journey to the title was marked by resilience and skill, as he navigated a challenging draw filled with top players from around the globe.
