He called Prime Minister Keir Starmer “two-tier Keir” and labeled Jess Phillips a “rape genocide apologist.” These remarks were triggered by the Home Office’s choice to decline a request for a government-led investigation into child sexual exploitation in Oldham, opting instead to instruct Oldham Council to carry out its own inquiry.

The government also highlighted its commitment to implementing recommendations from the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), which published its final report in 2022. However, Professor Alexis Jay, who led the inquiry, expressed frustration over delays in implementing these recommendations.
