Rajab Butt Regrets His Actions
Butt admitted his mistake, saying, “Keeping wild animals this way is inappropriate. I set the wrong example.”
Gifted by Fellow YouTuber
Umar Dolla, who owns the Lion Hub YouTube channel, gifted the cub in a cage. Dolla claimed ownership of the lion, but the court ruled it was taken by Butt.
Court Involvement
Wildlife officials filed a complaint after seeing the cub in a YouTube video. A judge ordered the wildlife department to assist Butt with creating the videos.
Zoo Director’s Warning
Tariq Janjua, Lahore Safari Zoo’s director, explained lions are unsuitable as pets, calling it cruel and dangerous.
Butt hopes to spread awareness about wildlife protection through his online platforms, using his influence to promote responsible behavior.
