Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by an intruder who broke into his Bandra residence.
The attack caused injuries to the actor’s hand, neck, and spine, leaving him hospitalized for treatment.
CCTV footage captured the suspect at 2:33 am in the building’s stairwell, dressed in a T-shirt and jeans.
The video also shows the intruder carrying a backpack and an orange scarf on his shoulder.
Dramatic Break-In and Confrontation
The intruder scaled the wall of an adjacent compound to enter the actor’s 12-storey building.
Using a fire escape, he gained access to the apartment Saif shares with Kareena Kapoor Khan and their sons.
House help Eliyama Phillipes was the first to spot the man, screaming to alert Saif Ali Khan.
Saif confronted the attacker and attempted to resist but was injured during the altercation.
Demand for Money During Attack
The intruder reportedly demanded ₹1 crore when questioned about his motive for the break-in.
Two household staff members were also injured while trying to fend off the attacker.
The incident has heightened security concerns around celebrity residences in Mumbai.
Mumbai Police are investigating the case and tracking the suspect with the help of CCTV footage.
