Indianapolis: A former Indiana teacher, Brittany Fortinberry, is facing multiple charges for allegedly engaging in group sex with teenagers during sleepovers at her home. Prosecutors claim she abused minors after putting her own children to bed.
New Victims Come Forward
Five additional victims, some as young as 13, have recently come forward. One victim accused Fortinberry of drugging and sexually abusing him repeatedly. Another alleged she paid boys for explicit photos.
Disturbing Details Revealed
Fortinberry allegedly spent $600 on items for a group of teens before engaging in group sex with them. She reportedly made them wear masks from the movie Scream. She also threatened suicide if they reported her actions.
Additional Criminal Charges
Prosecutors have filed 10 new counts of child molestation and other charges, including disseminating harmful material to minors. Fortinberry previously faced three counts of sexual misconduct. Her husband, Nicholas, is charged with intimidation and failure to report.
Employment and Resignation
Fortinberry worked as a substitute teacher before being fired in January 2024. She later taught at Eminence High School, where some victims were her students. She resigned in August 2024 after allegations surfaced.

A Department of Child Services investigation led to more parents contacting police. Many were unaware of the abuse until contacted by authorities. The case continues to develop as more victims and details emerge.
