WASHINGTON: In a strange incident, police have caught two goats who were harassing pedestrians.
According to Kent Police, the goats had been chasing people on foot, causing a disturbance. The animals were captured after being spotted in the northern part of the city.
Police said they were unsure where they came from but managed to control them after they were seen acting aggressively toward the public.
In a lighthearted post on Instagram, police clarified, “Don’t get us wrong, these are very cute, but chasing people or other isn’t okay.”
The department joked that when questioned about their behavior, one of the goats “answered with a bleat, saying he was just ‘feeling a little off today.'”
No charges were filed against the goats, but they were safely taken to the King County Animal Shelter. Authorities are now trying to find their owner.
