RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has emphasized that maintaining Syria’s unity and preventing further chaos are top priorities.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement acknowledging recent developments in Syria, expressing satisfaction with positive steps taken to safeguard the lives of its people and protect key institutions from further bloodshed.
The ministry reaffirmed commitment to supporting any efforts that ensure Syria’s security, stability, and sovereignty. “We support anything that guarantees Syria’s independence, freedom, and territorial integrity,” the statement added.
Furthermore, the Saudi government urged the international community to stand with the Syrian people, collaborate with efforts aimed at serving the nation, and avoid interfering in Syria’s internal affairs.
In its statement, Saudi Arabia underscored the urgency of supporting Syria at this critical juncture. Ending the ongoing conflict and aiding those suffering from years of hardship were highlighted as immediate priorities.
