In a conversation with a private TV channel, Saif explained that while the PTI leadership had officially announced D-Chowk as the rally location, the administration had not approved this site. The alternative proposal to hold the rally outside the city was presented to Imran Khan, who gave his consent. However, the plan was later rejected by other party members, with Bushra Bibi reportedly insisting on D-Chowk as the protest venue.
Saif also criticized the government for allegedly interfering with legal processes related to the release of Imran Khan, stating, “The release of our chairman must follow due legal process, but the government is unlawfully influencing these cases.” He emphasized that the ongoing protests are against the misuse of law to target the PTI leadership.
