Los Angeles: The ongoing legal dispute between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shows no signs of resolution, as the two former spouses remain entrenched in a bitter court battle over their shared winery, Chateau Miraval.
In the latest development, Jolie’s attorney, Paul Murphy, made significant claims following a new court ruling in her favor. According to Us Weekly, Murphy expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision, stating, “We are gratified that the court ruled in Angelina’s favor.” He then addressed Pitt’s previous attempts to conceal key evidence, saying, “After Mr. Pitt fought for years to hide this crucial evidence, he must now produce documents and communications concerning abuse, lies to authorities, and years of cover-up.”
Murphy further alleged that Pitt’s actions have caused significant harm to Jolie and their children, calling these issues central to the ongoing legal proceedings.
The case, which involves the couple’s contentious ownership of the Chateau Miraval estate and its prized sparkling rosé, has been a focal point in their prolonged divorce battle. The latest ruling gives Jolie a notable advantage, as she continues to seek full control over the winery.
In the midst of the legal drama, a Radar Online report also claimed that Jolie is reportedly facing financial difficulties, with sources alleging she is “hunting down the back of her sofa” for cash. It was also reported that she has been taking stock of her personal belongings, including valuable jewelry, handbags, and artwork.
As part of her efforts to raise funds, Jolie is said to have listed her vintage Ferrari for sale at $1.3 million, a move that some speculate is aimed at gaining leverage in the dispute. Meanwhile, Pitt, who is currently dating Ines De Ramon, is reportedly focused on moving forward with plans to start a new family, further complicating the already tense legal proceedings.
