Teen’s Murder
Jeremiah Jordan, 24, faces multiple felony charges, including first-degree murder.
Shanna Walton-Smith, 19, is also charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.
Both suspects were arrested on March 8, 2025, in separate locations.
They were involved in a fatal shooting of an 18-year-old female.
A 38-year-old male in the vehicle was also injured.

Stabbing on Train
David Davis, 31, was arrested for stabbing a 31-year-old male.
The attack occurred on March 7, 2025, at 1:25 a.m..
The crime happened on a train near 100 block of W. Cermak.
Davis was arrested on N. State St. shortly after the attack.
He now faces multiple felony charges, including aggravated battery.
Murder Case from 2024
Reginal Petty, 43, was arrested for a June 2024 murder.
The crime took place on June 17, 2024, in South Chicago Ave.
Petty was arrested on March 6, 2025, by U.S. Marshals.
The suspect was taken into custody at 9100 block of S. Bishop.
He is charged with first-degree murder and outstanding warrants.
Attempted Murder of Woman
Lorenzo Smith, 36, was arrested for an attempted murder from May 2023.
He allegedly shot and critically injured a 28-year-old female.
The attack happened on May 15, 2023, in 200 block of E. 42nd St..
Smith was arrested on March 6, 2025, in 600 block of W. Harrison St..
He faces one felony charge of first-degree attempted murder.
Senior Woman’s Attack
Kenneth Dixon, 20, was arrested for shooting a 62-year-old woman.
The attack happened on November 27, 2024, on S. Cottage Grove.
Dixon was arrested on March 6, 2025, by Chicago Police and U.S. Marshals.
His charges include attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.
The suspect was taken into custody at 2600 block of S. California Ave..
Legal Proceedings
All suspects are awaiting court appearances.
