Rawalpindi: In the case related to the GHQ Gate attack, charges against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and other accused could not be framed once again.

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) hearing took place at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Imran Khan was brought to the courtroom, while PTI’s Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was transported under tight security from Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail to Adiala Jail for the GHQ Attack Case.

During the hearing, Imran Khan’s legal team challenged the court’s jurisdiction, filing a petition to question the authority of the court. Khan’s lawyer, Babar Awan, stated that the petition was filed under Section 23-A of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Due to the jurisdictional challenge, the framing of charges against Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and other accused was once again delayed. The court adjourned the hearing and scheduled the next session for December 5th.

This delay has raised concerns about the lengthening of legal proceedings in the high-profile case.
