GAZA: An Israeli airstrike in Gaza on Saturday evening claimed the lives of at least 11 individuals, including multiple children from the same family. Local hospital authorities confirmed the fatalities, with additional victims reported injured from the attack on a house in the central Gaza area, east of Deir al-Balah.

In a separate development, the Israeli military reported a strike on a facility used by Hamas in northern Gaza City. The building, once a school, was allegedly housing Hamas operatives inside what was described as a “command and control center” in the Daraj Tuffah region. Gaza’s Civil Defense teams later recovered six bodies from a shelter located in northern Gaza, alongside other injured victims.

Simultaneously, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) ground operations continued in the Beit Lahia region of northern Gaza. The operation reportedly led to the neutralization of several Hamas members and the dismantling of underground infrastructure used for terrorist activities.

Despite the ongoing conflict, the World Health Organization (WHO) successfully delivered critical supplies, including 5,000 liters of fuel and much-needed blood donations. In addition, a UN convoy managed to break through blockade lines, delivering water, wheat flour, and canned food to the besieged Beit Hanoun neighborhood, which had been cut off for over two months.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to escalate, exacerbated by skyrocketing food prices and a lack of resources. Local residents, like many in central Gaza, have relied on humanitarian aid to feed their families, with increasingly dire shortages putting the region’s most vulnerable in a critical situation.

Meanwhile, international discussions continue, with some holding out hope for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, even though significant roadblocks remain in negotiations over a potential truce and the release of hostages.
