TELAVIV: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the return of Golani Brigade fighter Oron Shaul’s remains before the ceasefire began.
Operation Success
In a special operation by the IDF and ISA, Israel brought back the remains of Oron Shaul.
Netanyahu praised the Israeli forces for their resourcefulness and bravery in accomplishing this task.
Honoring the Fallen
Photographs of Oron Shaul and Hadar Goldin, both of blessed memory, have remained on Netanyahu’s office desk.
These images served as daily reminders of his commitment to bring them back since their deaths during 2014’s Operation Protective Edge.
Ongoing Mission for Hadar Goldin
Although Oron Shaul’s mission is complete, Netanyahu vowed to continue efforts to bring Hadar Goldin home.
“We will not rest,” he declared, until they also recover Goldin’s remains.
Commitment to Hostage Return
Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s determination to return all hostages—both living and deceased. This remains a national priority.
