DAMASCUS: Syria has become a target of Israeli airstrikes, with 310 attacks reported since the fall of President Bashar al-Assad’s regime. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Israeli forces have targeted multiple sites, including military warehouses, air defense systems, and naval ships in the coastal city of Latakia.

In addition to military targets in Syria , Israel has struck research centers and other critical infrastructure in the capital, Damascus. Key military installations, such as airports, fighter jets, radars, and weapon depots, have also been attacked.

The Israeli army has advanced to within 25 kilometers of Damascus, moving beyond the Golan Heights buffer zone. Israel has labeled these strikes as temporary defensive actions necessary for its security. Despite the rising tensions, there have been no official reports of significant casualties from these attacks.
