Los Angeles: Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced charges against eight more individuals for wildfire-related crimes across the county.
The cases involve offenses such as felony arson, looting during mandatory evacuations, and impersonating firefighters, Hochman stated Friday.

The crimes occurred in cities like Malibu, Santa Monica, and Brentwood during the Los Angeles County wildfires, officials confirmed.
These incidents have raised concerns about public safety and increased scrutiny on criminal activities linked to wildfire evacuations.
Arson Among Serious Charges
Several suspects face felony arson charges for intentionally starting fires, potentially endangering lives and causing extensive property damage.

“To those who think they can exploit this crisis, consider this your warning—you will face consequences,” Hochman stated.
