The chase began around 12:41 a.m. on Highway 4 when officers spotted the suspect driving a stolen Infiniti sedan. The driver, armed with a stolen handgun, was speeding over 100 mph, evading officers. When police tried stopping the vehicle, the suspect ran a red light near Railroad Avenue. The chase ended minutes later when the suspect’s car crashed into Tuipulotu and Tagaloa’s SUV.
