Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, heading the PTI protest convoy, urged the workers to not move out of D-Chowk, awaiting further instructions from the detained PTI founder Imran Khan.
The offensive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur told protesting PTI in Islamabad that “D-Chowk means D-Chowk and told the gathering not to move forward when they had reached the spot, appealed for them to stand their ground, stage a peaceful sit-in and “defend the territory”.
Gandapur demanded the federal government let PTI stage their sit-in peacefully at D-Chowk and promised that they wouldn’t leave unless Imran Khan issued them directions.
The federal government, meanwhile, presented Sangjani as an alternative venue for the sit-in and warned PTI of strict consequences in case they don’t comply with this setup.
