NEW DEHLI:Â Indian security forces killed 31 Maoist insurgents during an operation in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh. The encounter lasted for several hours.
According to Indian media, two security personnel died, while over 10 were injured and shifted to a hospital.
Officials seized a large cache of weapons and explosives from the operation site.
